Safety Training Survey for all EE MS and PhD students
The School of Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is very excited for you to start your PhD and advance science. To help you work safely, we have a hands-on safety training course offered the week before classes start and lunch will be provided. This highly rated program has helped SoE students launch their graduate research safely and successfully.
This training is targeted at students who will do research in "wet" labs, and SOE would like to identify who is a good candidate. Training is required for those working in wet labs. Please complete this survey by August 29th, 2024.

International students: Request your I-20/DS-2019 as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
Check your "To-Do" list in Axess throughout the summer for any documents that are missing from your student record (your To-Do list will not populate until you have been matriculated as a new graduate student on July 22). Any questions about To-Do List items should be directed to the central Graduate Admissions Office, gradadmissions@stanford.edu.
Graduating students: Submit your final transcript (with proof of degree conferral).
Did you receive external scholarships or fellowships for your graduate studies at Stanford? You may be eligible to receive Stanford's health insurance subsidy if you are receiving outside funding.
Submit entrance medical requirements by Tuesday, August 15.
Verify/update your contact information in Axess and your StanfordWho directory listing.
Upload a photo for your Stanford ID card at accessories.stanford.edu/sc/photo/submission.
If you do not wish to enroll in Cardinal Care, the default student health insurance option for all full-time Stanford students, you will need to waive this option by Monday, August 15 (international students) or Friday, September 15 (domestic students).
