Allen-X 3rd Floor (George-HP) Printer Install - WINDOWS

Connecting to Allen-X 3rd Floor HP LaserJet P3015 Printer (George-HP) - Windows Computer

  1. In the Search bar, type printers & scanners <Enter>
  2. Click Add a printer or scanner
  3. Click “The printer that I want isn’t listed” link
  4. Select “Add a printer using an IP address or hostname”, make sure Device type is IPP Device, and enter ipps://ee-printing.stanford.edu:631/printers/George-HP
  5. Click Next
  6. When the Add Printer Wizard pops up, select the manufacturer of the printer (HP) and then the driver of the printer (HP LaserJet P3015) on the right
  7. If you don't see "HP", you'll need to download the universal drivers for windows from this link ... https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL40842/ds-99374-24/upd-pcl6…
  8. Click OK
  9. When you see the message “You’ve successfully added George-HP on http://ee-printing.stanford.edu:631”, click Next
  10. You can then click Print a test page, or just click Finish
