Connecting to Allen-X CISX 128 (Stanford-Accelerate-Printer) Printer Install - Mac Computer

1. Go to System Preferences | Printers & Scanners

2. Under the list of installed printers on the left, go to the bottom and click the +

3. Click the IP tab above (Globe icon); enter the following info:

   • Address: ee-printing.stanford.edu:631

   • Protocol: Internet Printing Protocol - IPP

   • Queue: /printers/Stanford-Accelerate-Printer

   • Name: enter a meaningful name for the printer

   • Use: Select Software …

   • In the Printer Software dialog box, choose the printer driver to which you want to connect (HP Officejet 9010 Series PS)

   • Click OK; then click Add

   • In the options page, choose options "Tray 1" and "Duplex unit", then click ok

4. You should see the printer in your list of installed printers; you can click on it and then click the Open Print Queue button to print a test page.
