Allen-X 3rd Floor Printer Install - MAC

Connecting to Allen-X 3rd Floor (Tom-HP) Printer Install - Mac Computer

  1. Go to System Preferences | Printers & Scanners

  2. Under the list of installed printers on the left, go to the bottom and click the +

  3. Click the IP tab above (Globe icon); enter the following info:

    • Address: ee-printing.stanford.edu

    • Protocol: AirPrint

    • Queue: /printers/Tom-HP

    • Name: enter a meaningful name for the printer e.g. Tom-HP-3rd-Flr.

    • Click Add

    • In the options page, choose options "Tray 1" and "Duplex unit", then click ok

  4. You should see the printer in your list of installed printers; you can click on it and then click the Open Print Queue button to print a test page. Printer menu -> Print Test Page
