From portraittheater: Emmy Noether (1882 – 1935) is still one of the most outstanding minds in the field of mathematics. Despite many hurdles for women in science, she was the first woman in Prussia to qualify as a professor in 1919. Her influence on the development of modern structural mathematics was enormous. Her fundamental work was carried on in particular by the "Noether School" and through collaboration with scientists such as Helmut Hasse, Bartel L. van der Waerden, Paul Alexandroff and Olga Taussky-Todd.
Who this woman was, what significance Emmy Noether had as a researcher and teacher and what makes her special is told in the play by portraittheater with Anita Zieher and directed by Sandra Schüddekopf.
